The SEAMEO Centres research and advocacy efforts have significantly contributed to positive changes throughout the region. Acting Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education stated this during the 7th edition of the SEAMEO Centres Policy Research Network Summit Closing Ceremony. With the theme 'Embracing Inclusivity in Education, Science, and Culture Towards a Future-Ready Southeast Asia,' the 3 day summit was held at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

 

Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman in his speech also added that the SEAMEO Centre, as leaders in excellence and innovation, have been key in shaping policies and strategies based on evidence to foster inclusivity and sustainable development.

 

Through engaging presentations and constructive dialogues centred around the theme, attendees delved into discussions aimed at fostering a more inclusive Southeast Asia.
